How it works
Bag filters are a proven technology for exhaust gas purification and dust separation in industrial processes. They consist of a series of long, cylindrical filter bags made of robust woven fabric or needle felt, which serve as efficient filter media.
The dust-laden exhaust gas is directed into the bag filter and flows through the filter bags from the outside in. The dust particles adhere to the outer fabric of the bag, while the cleaned gas enters the interior of the bag and is then released into the atmosphere or further processed. To maintain the filter's effectiveness, the filter bags are cleaned regularly. This is achieved through targeted bursts of compressed air, ensuring consistent and efficient dust separation.
